You record a meeting by sending the Vaani AI notetaker to it. The notetaker joins from the meeting link as a participant, records the meeting, and when the meeting ends Vaani AI prepares the transcript and draft Minutes of Meeting for you to review.
You do not need to install anything, and nor do the other participants.
Step by step
Open Join Ongoing Meeting
Sign in and open Join Ongoing Meeting.
Paste the meeting link
Paste the full Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link into Meeting URL. Vaani AI shows the platform it detected.
Choose the language
Pick the meeting's main language. English and Hindi are supported for recordings.
Choose the minutes format
Pick the output format for the minutes, such as Professional Meeting Notes or Decisions & Action Tracker.
Choose the join mode
Auto-join sends the notetaker straight in. Host approval means the host must admit it first.
Send the notetaker
Select Send Vaani Bot. If the meeting has a waiting room or lobby, the host admits the Vaani AI participant.
Review after the meeting
When the meeting ends, open it in Vaani AI to review the transcript and the draft minutes before you send them.
Troubleshooting
Check that the meeting is open, that the host has admitted the Vaani AI participant from the waiting room, and that you pasted the full meeting link including any passcode part.
