1 credit = 60 minutes of processed meeting audio. A 45-minute meeting uses 0.75 credits, and a 2-hour meeting uses 2 credits. The number of participants or recipients does not affect billing — only the length of the processed audio matters.

Every new account gets 2 meeting hours (2 credits) as a one-time trial allowance. They expire 30 days after sign-up. No subscription or credit card is needed to try Vaani AI.

Saṅkalpa (Starter, ₹499/month) includes 5 meeting hours. Medhā (Advance, ₹999/month) includes 12 hours. Prajñā (Premium, ₹1,999/month) includes 30 hours. Included hours renew every month; unused hours do not roll over to the next month.

Not yet. Subscriptions are offered monthly. The annual prices shown on this page — ₹4,790 a year for Saṅkalpa, ₹9,590 for Medhā and ₹19,190 for Prajñā — are for reference and cannot be bought yet.

Once your included hours are used, further usage is charged from your Paid Wallet at ₹130 per meeting hour (the pay-as-you-go rate). When your wallet balance runs low, top it up to keep recording.

Pay As You Go lets you add money to your Vaani AI wallet through Razorpay (UPI, net banking, cards). Usage is deducted at ₹130 per processed hour, in proportion to the audio length — a 30-minute meeting costs ₹65 and a 1-hour meeting costs ₹130, before applicable GST.

No. Billing depends only on the length of the recorded and processed meeting audio — not on the number of participants, attendees or email recipients. A 1-hour meeting with 2 people costs the same as a 1-hour meeting with 20 people.

Billing always follows this order: (1) your free allowance where it applies → (2) your active subscription's included hours → (3) your Paid Wallet at the pay-as-you-go rate. Promotional wallet credits are applied according to the programme rules and cannot be used for unlimited free processing.

All payments go through Razorpay: UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), net banking, debit and credit cards, and Razorpay wallets. If a payment fails or your wallet is not updated, see Payment failed or wallet not updated.

Subscriptions renew every month until cancelled. If you cancel, your plan normally stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. When a subscription ends, your account moves to Ārambha (the Free plan) and the money in your Paid Wallet stays in your account. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Yes. Share your referral link. When the person you refer makes their first paid subscription payment, you both receive promotional wallet credits after a 30-day qualifying period: ₹100 each for Saṅkalpa, ₹150 each for Medhā and ₹250 each for Prajñā. Promotional credits expire after 180 days and follow the programme's usage rules.

They are display names for the same plans: Ārambha is Free, Saṅkalpa is Starter, Medhā is Advance, Prajñā is Premium and Upayoga is Pay As You Go. Nothing about a plan's price, hours or features changes because of its name, and your account and invoices show the English name as well.

No. Our servers are in Finland (European Union), and our transcription and AI providers process data in the United States. Organisation administrators can choose Amazon S3 (including the Mumbai region), Cloudflare R2 or Google Drive as their storage location. See our Privacy Policy for details.
