Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as one meeting?
Any meeting where our AI bot records and transcribes — from the moment it joins until it leaves. Meetings under 5 minutes are not counted towards your monthly quota.
How does the prepaid wallet work?
For Indian payments, you add credits to your Razorpay wallet (UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking). Credits are deducted per meeting. This is separate from Stripe recurring subscriptions, which handle billing automatically.
What happens if I exceed my meeting limit?
On Starter, each extra meeting is ₹49. On Professional, it's ₹29. These overage charges are deducted from your wallet. Enterprise plans have no limits.
Can I change my plan anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your dashboard. Stripe subscription changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Downgrading to Free is immediate.
Is my data stored in India?
Yes. All recordings and data are stored on AWS S3 in the Mumbai region (ap-south-1) by default. Enterprise customers can bring their own S3 bucket, Google Drive, or OneDrive.
Do participants need to install anything?
No. Our AI bot joins Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams as a meeting participant — just like any human attendee. Participants only see "Vaani AI Bot" in the call.
What payment methods are accepted?
Indian payments via Razorpay: UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards. International payments via Stripe: Visa, Mastercard, American Express. GST invoices available on request.
