This Cookie Policy explains how Vaani AI Technologies Private Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on https://app.meetvaaniai.com. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps data on your device. Both can be “strictly necessary” (needed for a service you asked for) or optional (for example analytics or advertising).
2. Our approach
We use only strictly necessary cookies and storage. We do not use analytics, advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share browsing data. Because only strictly necessary technologies are used, we do not show a consent banner. If we ever introduce optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
4. Browser local storage
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| vaani_token | Authenticates your requests to the Vaani AI API | Until you sign out |
| vaani_user | Caches your name, organisation and plan so pages load quickly | Until you sign out |
| vaani_ref_code | Remembers the referral code from a referral link until you register | Until registration or cleared |
| vaani_storage_provider | Remembers the storage option chosen in your dashboard | Until cleared |
| vaani_local_folder_name | Remembers the name of a local folder you selected for downloads | Until cleared |
5. Third-party cookies
- Razorpay may set cookies within its secure checkout when you make a payment, to process the payment and prevent fraud.
- Google may set cookies on its own pages when you choose to sign in with Google or connect Google Calendar.
These cookies are controlled by those providers under their own policies and are set only when you use those features.
6. Browser extension storage
The Vaani AI browser extension stores your sign-in token and basic profile, the server address, recording state, your last chosen output format and details of your most recent meeting in the browser’s extension storage on your device. This data is removed when you sign out or uninstall the extension.
7. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies or storage will sign you out and prevent the Service from working.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this policy, with a new version and effective date, before changing how we use cookies. Questions: support@vaaniai.com.
