When you send the notetaker from Join Ongoing Meeting, you choose a join mode:
- Auto-join: the notetaker joins as soon as it is sent.
- Host approval: the host must admit or approve the notetaker before it can join.
In both modes, a meeting with a waiting room or lobby still needs the host to admit the Vaani AI participant. Choose Host approval when the meeting host is someone else and should decide whether the meeting is recorded.
