Connecting Google Calendar is optional. Once connected, Vaani AI reads your upcoming events that have a video-meeting link and can add them to your meetings list, so they are ready when you want to record. Vaani AI only reads your calendar; it does not create, change or delete events.
Step by step
Open Connections
Sign in and open Connections.
Connect Google
On the Google Meet card, select Connect and sign in with the Google account whose calendar you use.
Allow read-only access
Google asks you to allow Vaani AI to see your calendar. Allow it to finish connecting.
Check the status
Back in Vaani AI, the card shows Connected.
Adjust calendar settings (optional)
Open Calendar settings to choose whether meeting records are created automatically, set filters such as minimum attendees, and run a sync.
Troubleshooting
Only calendar events with a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link are listed. Check that the event has a video link, then run a sync from Calendar settings.
Select Connect again and make sure you approve calendar access on the Google screen. If it keeps failing, contact support with your account email.
